People rush in from every side
Attempting to destroy my pride
I smile.
They try in vain to crush my heart
Because their lives are torn apart
I care.
They seek so hard to cause me pain
For the sake of their own gain
I pray.
Remorse that i choose not to share
Revenge would only leave me bare
I sigh.
The darkness is sent out from them
Causing lives to seem so dim
I shine.
Pressure builds and causes stress
Pain that's never meant to rest
I heal.
They think forgiveness makes me weak
And see my character as meek
I laugh.
To summon every help i know
And stop this evil with a glow
I give.
As they hope to see my death
Wish to suck my very breath
I live.
On mountains they could never climb
Through tortures kept inside my mind
I've soared.
They cannot see whom they attack
That power and strength i do not lack
I forgive.
While they pace the hallways dim
Concocting ways to do me in
I sleep.
With patient strength and wisdom's touch
I see through them to hearts of rust
I cry.
They cannot see through all the hate
That if i chose it, they would break
I wait.
I avoid the fight with all i say
Though others would not hesitate
I weep.
And when I'm forced to become true
Destroy in energy of blue
I rise.
I call the strongest force, my right
Exploding, transform into light
I love.
